Candanchu is a ski resort that is found in the Aragon Pyrnees, in northern Spain. It belongs to the province of Huesca, in the municipality of Aisa, a small locality of about 250 inhabitants in the heart of the Pyrenees. This locality is very close to the French border and is home to one of the most important ski resorts in the Pyrnees.
Candanchu is a winter ski resort whose lowest and highest points are 1530 metres and 2200 metres in altitude respectively. It is found 27 kilometres away from the municipality of Jaca and very close to another ski resort called Astun...a first class resort.
